Azon Announces Board of Directors Changes
Michigan based Azon USA Inc. has made strategic changes to its board of directors. Effective immediately Tami Lee is appointed to the Azon board of directors. Lee has been with Azon for over 35 years, serving most recently as director of human resources. Lee promotes a healthy, productive workforce culture, oversees the development of employee benefits and was instrumental in the formation of the Azon ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), according to the company.
"On behalf of Azon, we are pleased that Tami has joined the executive board for the company. The addition of Tami to our board ensures a bright future where employees are inspired to perform at their best for the company," says Azon CEO Dave Mills.
In addition, James Dunstan is retiring from the Azon board of directors' chairperson position to become chair emeritus in good standing. Dunstan, 92, co-founded Azon, the privately held ESOP company in 1977, along with his wife, Ruth Dunstan.
Mills is the new chairperson of the board of directors. Mills has over 25 years in multiple aspects of leadership at Azon, including marketing, with expertise in both finance and global corporate business management.
